Actually it's in redhat's rawhide since 3rd August. It was "released" a day or two before that. I haven't seen an announcement or a release plan on the mailing list though.
The previous release was somehow better managed.
BTW, there's talk on the Qemu mailing list about completely dropping Windows support.
