It's a 1.1 to 1.0 proxy. It really only supports 1.0 files, everything else will need a server.

I've been overwhelmed IRL

I'll see if I can make something user mode like, although the server stuff I do have is 1:1 IE no NAT. It'd require you to place it directly onto a network or the internet.

I've not seen any codes for the UnixWare server, and it's too late to get one sadly.

I doubt any newer files will play like how rabbit foxtrot does.

Hello, sorry for such a strange question for this blog,but I really need help with one .ram file that has realaudio plug-in, I found this site from 2006 that has a video material that is not visible in my browser, I'm extremely bad in coding, that's why I've been searching someone from our days to get me know if the video is still working, I'd be extremely glad for any help to get some information about this file

Id guess the old backing server used to be up, but now it's not.

Shame all the files contain is a proprietary non http link, that was never backed up.

I downloaded one of the files, but it's just a forwarding link:

$ cat p005528.ra
pnm://realav.kbs.co.kr/mod/pop/p005528.ra

$ strings fortunate.ram
rtsp://131.95.120.146/G2/Real Rock9/fortunate.rm

I'm afraid this may very well be all lost.

Sadly, post version 2, they started their own servers with their own custom protocols to break self-hosting for free. This is where I'm not all that sure about stuff, as I didn't have a licensed server, instead I was all in on icecasting.

I'm not sure if any of the actual audio from this era was ever saved, it's all 1kb stub / forwarding files.

I've no idea, unfortunately you've done everything but link some of the data!

I was nothing more than a casual consumer, I'd ripped a few CD-ROM's into diskette sized samples that most people would just cry about sounding worse than AM radio, but people didn't get I didn't need to carry or rewind cassettes, and I had instant seek/on demand.

But I never had access to the server software, so I really don't know. There is a copy of the server in the UnixWare box I bought ages ago, but there is no license, so I've not gotten anywhere with that.
