yes, but I did like the idea of it being SATA. For Windows 2000 I did have to set it to IDE mode but the Windows 2000 drivers for the Quadra 4000 don’t work. Maybe my card’s BIOS is too new, but I’m happy enough with XP at the moment. I just got the Orange Box in the mail so that’ll be fun!

Snappy driver installer is nice in theory, in practice it also contains drivers meant for embedded windows which lack many features of the regular drivers

Thanks! I had uploaded a copy but then it got false flagged as a virus for ‘unknown exe compression’ or some such nonsense.

Glad there is somewhere to get this from, I’d have never gotten XP working without it!
