Not 100% sure that it can be loaded as-is by bootmagic, I had to fiddle with the encoding/colors quite a bit. If you are using it for that and need a working BMP, I can retrieve it from the laptop.

After the setup is done, Unix will be installed on the HD with a kernel that comes from the CD, which means it won’t be able to boot from the LBA disk (the kernel gets stuck at H6).
So, after you are asked to reboot, reinsert uod429a and at the boot prompt type
fd(64)unix root=hd(40)
to boot the kernel from the floppy and the system installed on the HD.

Then you can run custom in single-user mode and install the uod429a update on the system, to update the kernel on the HD.

I managed to get this working on a Toshiba Libretto which was pretty cool/sad back in the day.
