You need to setup Page Rule exception for the RSS /feed to Security Level=off https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/218411427
otherwise non human operated browsers wont be “validated” by CF anti bot javascript detector = 503

In reply to rasz_pl. I set it up as best as I could figure but it doesn't seem to work. So I end up blocking the person that hits it once every second. Although the move to PHP7 has been beyond tremendous. who would have thought, that compiled PHP is 100's of times as fast as interpreted.
