I’d already built early Nethack with GCC 1.x so I hadn’t worried too much. Although this will need either a different assembler, or different object file format to run on anything else other than the un-released 4.3BSD

But it’s very impressive the work that was put into making this tool chain!

Don’t underestimate how useful this on its own is. Being able to natively compile pre-ANSI C without much hiccup might be really handy for forward-porting old C software.
