yeah, it’s how I keep up to date, it although I guess RSS isn’t trendy enough anymore these days.

It seems to me it’s much easier (and avoids garbage like Twitter completely) to just use an RSS reader – you get real configurable push notifications and no artificial limits and even better you aren’t tied to a trash platform like Twitter.

You can check out IFTTT’s RSS applets, for example, if you don’t want to self host anything.

I’m afraid that most people here would see zero value in Twitter and would actively avoid it – just my 2¢.

I actually thinking about a twitter rss bot. It will only post rss feed to the twitter account. No interactions whatsoever. Then i will open mobile notifications of the account. See it when a new post came up.

Sorry I find twitter just full of people congratulating each other for changing their icons to various colours, and doing their best to hunt down and harass people. I don’t see any value in the platform @ all.

A bright and closed future, sure. It’ll still be an obscure thing, sadly.

Well, I still prefer using VMS to UNIX, and pretty much anything else, even today.

It’s still a MAJOR product for HP, and their high-end platform. At this time, they do NOT offer a hobbyist program for older versions either.

Remember, they killed off or sold of all the other platforms – Tru64, MPE, VMS, MX, etc – and kept only HP-UX and Non-Stop.
