I never heard of that, but then again it’s from over 10 years ago, so I guess this thing has either already died, or will die soon.

I liked the idea of a cheapo media machine, with a GPU that can run real programs, and at under $100 with the only thing I did was install an OS, and change a registry setting it seemed okay. I didn’t want yet another laptop, so I can’t think of why I’d want another thinkpad, I already had a Y720, and I guess if they made that without a display it’d be cool too, but the whole ‘steam machine’ well.. ran out of steam.

8400M will die due to manufacturing defect, why overpay for such garbage? 🙁 this is perfectly working i5 Thinkpad (x220/230) money down the drain, you have strange hobbies 😉
