There is still NetBSD. There was an attempt at getting Linux to run at some point but I think it’s been halted around 2013.
I’ve ran linux on vaxstation3100, 10years ago. It tooks hours to generate ssh RSA/DSA keys
It was always a treat to install a new OpenBSD release in simh, until you got to point where it started generating keys.

Yeah generating keys on legacy systems is always a drag. I can remember the first time installing on a SUN 5, and once it was generating keys, it was time to take a break.
