Hi do you think you could write some tutorial on how to use Netware 3.12? (what are the default usernames and passwords (how to add them?), how to launch syscon or rconsole and configure Netware 3.12? (if I do load monitor I only get some info I can't add users, and do other cool stuff)

Thanks for Anwsering and Best Regards

Good luck with your move!

I got 3.12 up and running and I grabbed the Qemu win64 build from weilnetz.de that you used. It has a neat feature - if you detach the VGA tab from the view menu, then you can use the F10 key again. I'm glad I found this as I go control of my F10 key back rather than it activating the drop-down menu.

I'm in the process of moving my work stuff, and computers into an office.. as we are moving homes too (smaller house, but a real offie space for me). So I can't test any of this until next week.

I've been playing with the multicast socket feature today. I can't get it to run on Windows 8.1 - does it work for you on 7 or OSX?

It does work for me on Fedora, I've had three clients connected to the server.

-netdev socket,id=t0,mcast=239.255.0.1:42000,localaddr=127.0.0.1

For some reason the client doesn't find the server on every boot but I suspect it may be something in net.cfg. Is there a way to make a client poll longer/more frequently?

Sure you can rename them, and if anything it makes more sense doing it that way..

I also loaded up nt4-idle.nlm, although I think it kills the performance of the server. I haven't even tried to benchmark it though.

Great stuff! Now I need to take a another step back and play with this version as I found it on winworldpc this morning.

BTW, I right-click and rename all my Windows to something sensible like tap0, tap1... And do you use NT4-IDLE.NLM to idle the VM CPU?
