In reply to calvin. I think it was part of Exchange 5.5 Enterprise, while the copy I got on ebay was the 'normal' version.. Since SP4 upgraded me to an awesome 16GB mailstore limitation.

In reply to neozeed. nah, it comes on the Exchange 5.5 CD, and AFAIK it's on 2000, and there were earlier non-Exchange versions at the time. it doesn't need exchange installed, but IIS is required

The only DOS client I have came with Exchange 4.. I had it working with 2000, and I think it connected to 2003, but service packs killed it.

I’m pretty sure you can get the client out of the Exchange 4 service packs….

Didn’t Exchange 5.5 come with a DOS Outlook client? I’m curious if that client works with later versions of Exchange. There isn’t much info (or a download) of the DOS client online, or the Windows 3.1x version for that matter!

In reply to Cory Smelosky. I'd forgotten Microsoft even had an IRC server, it was expensive from what I recall, and of course geared towards the best IRC client of all time, Comic Chat.
