Just cut a thin hole in the case and lead the HDD cable out. Yeah it looks shit, but fuck it's easy to manage.

And no OS patch will help the kickstart bug. Try using only the first 40mb ;)

I was hoping that AmigaDOS 2.1's patches should be good for 37.300 although I guess the better thing is to move to 40.63 (3.1)..

yeah I had worried about a virus as things were just acting so weird.. I can't even think of how many times I've re-installed AmigaDOS 2.1 ... although my 2.1 was uh downloaded.. I only have a partial copy of 2.04 but with the floppy acting all weird now I can't even read that properly :(

I'm going to have to install GCC or Dice or something on there so I can compile some programs. Hopefully one day this PCMCIA Wifi card will arrive so I can go through the fun that was AmiTCP and just FTP data like any modern system would hope to do so... taking the Amiga apart to recopy the flash disk is getting.. old.

> Next I’ll try to tackle WHDLoad, although I don’t think 2MB of ram will be enough.

Mostly nope.

I recommend conducting some MD5 checksum tests while copying a test file from RAM: ... 37.500 is still buggy, despite MaxTransfer settings and all.

Oh yeah, and check for viruses ;) I lost a fuck lot of hair for _months_ due to one of them. VirusZ works great.
