Hmm it still flickers like mad.. Ok, ok it's a 'hackintosh' but it plays portal 2 like a champ!

Model Name:	Mac Pro
 Model Identifier:	MacPro2,1
 Processor Name:	Quad-Core Intel Xeon
 Processor Speed:	2.57 GHz
 Number Of Processors:	1
 Total Number Of Cores:	4
 L2 Cache:	6 MB
 Memory:	8 GB
 Bus Speed:	1.33 GHz
 Boot ROM Version:	MP21.005C.B01
 SMC Version (system):	1.30f3

I should imagine 2.57Ghz ought to be enough to push say jdosbox @ 500 cycles playing a CGA game, right? Although I guess it's something about the Apple Java...

Sorry about the flickering on slower machines. I think I already fixed this for the next release. I've also implemented IPX support. Games like Doom already work over IPX, but I haven't found the bug that prevents Z from working so the release has been delayed until I can find that. Sorry, no ETA :)

Changelog:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/jdosbox/files/jDosbox/ChangeLog.txt/download

0.74.23 June 5, 2011
* Fixed a serious memory error that mostly affected EGA era games
* Increased performance of the dynamic core a bit
* Improved audio by reducing stuttering on some games

0.74.22 May 29, 2011
* More fixes for Windows 3.11

0.74.21 May 27, 2011
* Fix for Windows 3.11 that affected Freecell

0.74.20 May 27, 2011
* New dynamic core, most games are 2x faster than build #19
* Fixed lots of minor bugs, mainly around installers
